A few weeks ago, Hubby and I visited Everland, Korea’s largest theme park located in Yong-in City in Gyeonggi Province. It’s about an hour drive from our home in Seoul. We just wanted to enjoy some fresh air and check out the tulip festival. It was near the end of the tulip season so the flowers weren’t in their most beautiful state and some were about to wither. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time walking around the gardens, eating and taking photos. The weather was quite gloomy but luckily it didn’t rain.

The park is usually overcrowded especially on weekends and holidays, and parking your vehicle can be a hassle. One time, we arrived there in the morning but the parking lot nearest to the entrance gates was already packed. We drove farther and farther away to look for a parking space until we gave up and just decided to look for a matjib (popular restaurant) in the area instead. Haha!
Unlike our past visits, this one was smooth and stress-free as I made an early reservation for valet parking. The valet parking lounge is right next to the entrance gates which makes it a very convenient service especially for those who have little kids. Online reservation is required for the valet parking service so don’t forget to get a ticket prior to your visit. Also, we pre-purchased our admission tickets from the official website and enjoyed the 50% special discount for local credit card holders. We were able to skip the long queue at the ticket office and went straight to the entrance gate with our QR codes. Woot!
