Cheongdam Market is not a local market but a restaurant that offers unlimited meat and seafood. Yes, that’s right, meat and seafood. Eat-all-you-can meat restaurants or seafood restaurants are pretty common in Seoul but not those that offer both. I was kind of excited as it was my first time to visit the place but unluckily, the weather wasn’t that good so abalones (my fave) weren’t available.

Time allowance: 2 hours & 30 minutes
The restaurant is open from 4:30 PM to 2:00 AM. We arrived there around 5:00 PM and we were one of the first customers!

On the table, there’s a grilling pan for meat and other food, and right next to it is another cooking station for grilled or steamed shells (you can choose only one). We chose to have steamed shells or jogae jjim (조개찜).

Initially, they serve a pan of mixed shells. If you wish to have more, just go to the shell section, pick your choices and give them to the staff. They’ll clean it for you.
Our overall dining experience at Cheongdam Market was relatively good — clean place, quick service and fresh food. For those who have really big appetite, this place is right for you. It is also a great venue for a drinking party with a group of friends or company dinner also known as hweshik.
