Where To Eat & Drink

Terarosa Coffee (POSCO Branch)

Like me, do you also believe that coffee and books make a perfect pair? If you get the chance to be in Seoul, give this cool cafe a visit. It is located on the first and second floor of POSCO building at Daechidong, Gangnam. Although the coffee shop craze in Korea is frothing over, there are only a few book cafes in the city and Terarosa Coffee has become one of my favorites! I went there early in the morning right after breakfast so the cafe was not that crowded. Hubby dropped me off and then he went straight to his favorite Manhwa (comic book) cafe. It was “me time” for both of us.

Terarosa Coffee originally started in Gangneung, a city in the province of Gangwon-do. Now there are a lot of branches in Seoul, Gangneung, Gyeonggi, Jeju and Busan.

On the first floor, you can order food and drinks. At the back of the counter, there’s a long table and shelves full of books that you can read for free. You can’t bring the books anywhere in the cafe though.

Oh childhood memories! What was your favorite?

The second floor is a perfect place to study or have a meeting. It is so spacious with lots of natural light.
