Today I met my Korean friends for late lunch. We went to a popular grill restaurant in Gwangjang-dong called Gogogi. In Korea, grill restaurants are also known as Gogi-jib. Gogi is the Korean word for meat and jib for house.
Unlike other grill restaurants where meat is served pre-sliced and you have to do the grilling by yourself, Gogogi serves fresh unsliced meat and takes care of the grilling and slicing for you. Yes, all you have to do is eat! 🙂
We ordered different pork cuts: samgyupsal, moksal, hanjeongsal and chadolbagi. What’s your favorite cut?
