Book Park is a combination of a bookstore, a coffee shop and an art gallery. It is located inside Blue Square, a multi-purpose cultural complex in Itaewon, Seoul. Upon entering the building, you will be greeted by thousands of books stacked on wooden shelves from floor to ceiling. The name was chosen to suggest that reading books here is as breezy and tranquil as reading at a park. Visitors can browse any reading material for free!
It was my first time to visit Blue Square and I fell in love with the place that I almost forgot we were there to watch Chicago The Musical. I got too excited to explore the bookstore. Haha! 😛

Unlike other major bookstores, Book Park allows visitors to enjoy some drinks and light snacks purchased from cafes located on each floor.
Book Park is a paradise for bookworms of all ages. There is children’s zone with kiddie chairs and an array of children’s books. There is also a gallery featuring local artists on the 4th floor.
